On August 8th, We’re partnering with our friends at Nature Newfoundland and Labrador for a Barnyard Social, group scarecrow building, and a guided owl walk at the farm!

Enjoy an evening of fun while discovering why birds are some of the farm’s best allies. We’ll explore the science behind why traditional bird deterrents like scarecrows aren’t always as effective as we think, and why it’s actually beneficial to have birds on your property.

Schedule:

● 7:00–8:00 p.m.: Social at the Kitchen Barn

● 8:00–9:00 p.m.: Group Scarecrow Building ( Help our feathered friends find a perch!)

● 9:00–10:00 p.m.: Guided Owl Walk

This is a free event, but the bar (obviously) costs money!
