Eco-Printing: An Introduction to Natural Dyes

On August 15, we’re playing host to an eco-printing class. Come learn about natural dyes, sustainability in textiles, and make some beautiful things! Eco-printing uses the natural chemicals found in leaves to create stunning patterns on fabric and paper. It’s a great way to introduce yourself to the fascinating world of natural dyes.

The wonderful Susan Furneaux will guide fibre folks of all skill levels and backgrounds through this enjoyable afternoon. We’ll dye fabric, paper, and a yarn sample, chat about natural dyes, sustainability in textiles, and local plants, and create some beautiful things. What more could you ask for?! This will be an outdoor event.

The class fee is $52 per person and includes all materials.
